Fat injection (also known as fat grafting) is a technique that’s widely used in cosmetic surgery to enhance tissue volume and provide natural looking, long lasting results.  When it’s used in facial procedures, it’s called “Facial Fat Grafting.”  This procedure is fairly straightforward: Fat is taken from a donor area on the body, is purified with a centrifuge, and is then injected into the area on the face requiring augmentation.  Facial fat grafting is growing in popularity because it’s one of the most well-tolerated fillers available.  It is safe and very effective.
